November 7th Foodie Friday -- Plus $100 Williams-Sonoma Gift Card Giveaway

 Welcome to Foodie Friday.
I can't believe that Thanksgiving is only three weeks away. Are you staying home this year or visiting relatives? If you're cooking, will you use family favorites or try something new?
I really got into the holiday spirit when I saw a super cute "turkey" fruit tray idea on Tumblr. I tracked down the source to Canadian Family.  I added raspberries, sprouts, and flower "wings."

This Saturday, I'll share more details about the Turkey Fruit Platter,
along with a vignette that I've been working on.

And if you're in the mood for an armchair Home Tour this Sunday, I'm visiting a cozy log cabin.

Foodie Friday -- October 24th

Welcome to Foodie Friday!

When food and lifestyle bloggers get together and party, the results are magical. Each week, when the thumbnail photos start to appear in the link-up, I just can't stop smiling--and drooling. I feel as if I have been invited to the most wonderful potluck dinner in the world.  As I "walk" around the party, I'm dazzled by your talent.
And, it's such fun being with you all!

I was bowled over by the extraordinary offerings at last week's Foodie Friday, and I hope you will be, too. I'm still thinking about the recipes. You brought a feast: soups, main dishes, sides dishes, breads, libations, time-saving recipes, desserts, fun seasonal items, and more. Shall we take a look at the highlights? Great! Grab a glass of your favorite beverage and a huge plate.

I'm pleased to share the
October 23rd Link Party's 5 Most-Viewed Recipes.

#1 -- Easy Chicken Tetrazzini
You'll always find great food at Kitty's Kozy Kitchen so it's no wonder that her Easy Chicken Tetrazzini was the number one recipe last week. I love the thyme sprigs--and that gorgeous blue plate is the perfect background.

#2 -- Homemade French Onion Soup
American Heritage Cooking combined comfort food, the essence of cold-weather cooking,
and the convenience of a one-pot meal. This recipe will take you through crisp autumn evenings and keep you warm during a wintry Polar blast.

Living the Gourmet presented a tart that beguiled us with sweet, concentric circles.

#5 -- Murphy's-in-a Clogher Valley Mist
All of my favorite foods come together in  Olla-Podrida's spectacular dish.
I could live on it, truly. And, it's beautifully written and photographed. Murphy's-in-a Clogher Valley Mist is one of those recipes that hits all the right notes and changes your menu planning (and your world) for the better.
