Welcome to the December 5th Foodie Friday,
where great food is always on the menu. It's been crazy-busy around here. I'm sure it's the same way at your home. A blast of cold air is sweeping across the US--I hope you stay warm and healthy.
Here are last week's three most popular recipes, based on the number of clicks per Inlink's data.
#1 Fabby's Living. Her Christmas decorations are fabulous!
Fabby also shared a recipe for Pumpkin Chocolate Harvest Cake
#2 In the Middle of Nowhere
Marigene shared her beautiful Thanksgiving dishes and a recipe for Spicery Rolls.
#3 Penny's Vintage Home -- Sand Tart Cookies
Thanksgiving always initiates the "baking season," and this year was no exception at our home.
After the holiday, my husband asked for another homemade pumpkin pie (no pictures--the pie was swiftly consumed). I had oodles of leftover pie crust dough, so I made the easiest cherry pie
in the world, using canned, pitted cherries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt.
I topped the pie with cherry cutouts, which add a festive touch.
Note: Next week's Foodie Friday will be posted early. The link will be available on Wednesday evening, December 11th at 7 pm Central time.
