St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl

It's St. Patrick's Day, and I'm cooking a traditional meal--corned beef, cabbage, and scones (also southern cornbread). I'm excited to go pub crawling over at Cuisine Kathleen's blog. The give-aways include a Williams-Sonoma cake pan and a star-pie mold--and much, much more.

As many of my friends know, I love all things Irish, and I've been cooking and tablescaping the minute Valentine's Day ended:cupcakes, scones, potato dishes, savory pies, and more.

I can't wait to find more Irish recipes on the pub crawl!
I've prepared some family favorites:

These are always a hit: Baileys Irish Cream cupcakes.

I've been trying to see how many unique tablescapes I can make in my breakfast room. It's a challenge! Here, I've mixed black and white tableware with Irish green napkins.

I am sneaking away to post while my mother eats brunch and watches The View.
